Knox Street Dallas

Make Knox your neighborhood, no matter where you live. While there’s always a new restaurant, shop or event to explore, our streets remain as charming and walkable as they were decades ago.

Knox blends past and present in an unforgettable destination. For 100 years, friends and family have gathered at the Highland Park Soda Fountain. In 1948, the Weir’s family launched their furniture store on Knox. And back in 1982, On the Border Mexican Grill unveiled its very first location. Today, these neighborhood favorites have transformed Knox Street into a true district and home for tenants including: Restoration Hardware; Crate & Barrel; Apple’s state-of-the art showroom; 4510, a premier boutique destination; and home décor showrooms of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Jonathan Adler, Nest and many more.

You’ll find Knox between the Katy Trail and North Central Expressway. Lace up your sneakers or rock your stilettos and come discover the most dynamic area of Dallas.

The New Knox

Exciting improvements are coming to Knox in the near future. Knox Street has been selected as a City of Dallas “Complete Streets” pilot project. What does this mean? Knox Street will get a makeover that includes enhanced sidewalks, pedestrian lighting, and bike lanes. The Knox Street Public Improvement District is working closely with the City of Dallas to formulate these plans. Visit Dallas Complete Streets for more information. Stay tuned to see how bike lanes will be incorporated onto Knox Street later this year.
